The Team

Mark Beranek
Operations and Business Development

Mark obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Landscape Architecture which led to an opportunity to pursue his passion – Golf Club management.  He became the General Manager at Sunset Whitney Country Club (which had recently been in reorganization). Soon after, the club executed a strong marketing plan armed with creative ideas. The club’s growth explode and enjoyment of the Country Club life returned to the Membership.

Mark is returning to his biggenst passion, golf resort management. Mark first came to know of Nakoma Golf Resort from a magazine advertisement in 1999 and being familiar with Frank Lloyd Wright’s work, he and his wife, Brenda, were intrigued and very interested to see Nakoma. They took a weekend trip in 2000 and played the Dragon (the resort was under construction).  It was love at first sight and they immediately purchased lot #442 with hopes of becoming a resident one day.  Nakoma Golf Resort is the perfect opportunity to blend Mark’s skills with a dream and promise where Mark’s true passion lies.  Stay tuned for a great 2012 at Nakoma!
